Full TextABSTRACT
The growing human population requires more production of agricultural products to meet the food needs. To achieve the goal of sufficient agricultural production, farmers relied largly on the intensive agriculture system based on the use of more chemical fertilizers and pesticides. However, the intensive agricultural system results in some negative all-round effects; Such as soil, water and environmental pollution that has threatened human society. In order to reduce these problems, there is a need to change the current agricultural system; To create a system that is environmentally safe and economically sustainable. In this regard, the sustainable agricultural system is considered a good alternative due to the reduction in the costs of these products and finding appropriate alternatives. The use of biological fertilizers, along with other practices in a sustainable agricultural system, can significantly reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used. Biological fertilizer is a product that contains one or more types of beneficial microorganisms and when used in soil, seed, water or plants under appropriate conditions, it causes an increase in plant growth and yield. There are different types of biological fertilizers, the most important of which are nitrogen fixing, phosphate dissolving and plant growth promoting microorganisms. This includes various microorganisms, bacteria, fungi and cyanobacteria are the most important and valuable.
